Elvira has over ten years of coaching experience and specializes in jump technique.  Elvira is fluent in Spanish and enjoys teaching skaters on and off the ice. She studied at the University of the Américas and has a degree in International Relations.

Sebastian Arango

Sebastian Arango

Sebastian comes to Center Ice Arena with 12 years of coaching experience and 15 years of extensive dance training. He is a current member of a professional dance company as well as an instructor for two well-known dance studios where he has been teaching for the past 6 years. He specializes in choreography, off-ice dance, stretch and strengthening. Sebastian also has 12 years experience in music editing and composition.

Sebastian's goal is for his students is to find a sense of self confidence, presence, determination, self discipline,freedom, inspiration, grace. He sees the sport as a tool in which to teach these invaluable life lessons. He concentrates on the importance of detail, self awareness, practice, and hard work. His method of teaching does not always consist of giving all the right answers but more so of asking the right questions. He hopes to ignite a fire and passion for self awareness. Guiding his pupils but allowing them to explore solutions for themselves. He is dedicated to developing strong foundations in all aspects of skating (jumps,spins,artistry,moves in the field, flexibility,& strength) to shape and mold successful, well rounded, polished skaters

Jessica Ashworth

Specializing in moves in the field, choreography, and freestyle skating, Jessica has thirteen years of coaching experience and has tested Gold in USFS moves and freeskate and is also Bronze certified in ISI. She is a graduate of Cal State San Bernardino majoring in Business Administration

Specializing in freestyle skating, moves in the field, and choreography, Molly has eleven years of coaching experience and has tested Gold in USFS moves in the field. She is also Bronze certified in ISI.  Molly earned a Political Science degree from Cal State San Bernardino.

Excels in teaching artistry, spins, power stroking, moves in the field, and jumps. Jenny has over fourteen years of coaching experience and is a certified category A member of PSA.

Kelsey Chan

Kelsey has over ten years of skating experience competing in Regional, Sectional, and National competitions. She has Gold medals in both Senior Moves in the Field and Senior Freeskate and is currently pursuing her Gold test in Solo Ice Dancing. She specializes in advanced jump and spin technique and overall skating performance.

Kristen Chapman

With over ten years of competitive figure skating experience, Kristen has tested Gold in Senior level Moves in the Field and Bronze in Novice level free skate. She is currently pursing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Biology at the University of La Verne.

Sheileah Crisp

Sheileah has twenty-two years of skating experience and has Gold medals in both freestyle and moves in the field. Specializing in stroking, jump technique, and off ice training, Sheileah teaches students from the preliminary to advanced levels.  Sheileah was featured in the first, all African American cast ice production of Ebony on Ice.

 

Trista DeMuth

Trista has fourteen years of skating experience and is gold certified in moves and the field and free skate through USFS as well as bronze certified through ISI. She specializes in the basic skills program as well as free skating, including jump and spin technique. Trista enjoys working with skaters of all ages and skill levels on and off the ice. She is currently pursuing her BA of communication at California Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Rebecca Dornbush

Rebecca is a USFS Gold medalist who has served as the 2004 National Seminar Demonstrator for National and International judges school for Novice, Junior, and Senior moves in the field. She is a nationally accredited coach and B.A. certified. Rebecca has toured as a performer with Disney on Ice.

Kristy Evans

Kristy is a U.S. National competitor, National Collegiate Champion, two-time Silver medalist, and Southwest Pacific Regional Champion. With over ten years of coaching experience, Kristy specializes in advanced jump technique, spins, choreography, and overall freestyle presentation. She is a category A certified instructor through USFS.

Kristy graduated from Cal State University, San Bernardino with a B.A. in communications and a minor in Theatre Arts.

Grisha Fournier

Grisha has been a national competitor at the Juvenile, Intermediate, Novice, and Junior levels. He currently competes at Senior level and has worked with some of the top coaches in the world. He specializes in jumping skills and stroking technique.

Nicole Harmon

Nicole has eighteen years of figure skating experience and is a USFS Bronze medalist in freestyle. She also took 2nd place at ISI world competition for FS 7. Specializing in jump and spin techniques, Nicole enjoys working with beginner through advanced students.

Lauren has 13 years of competitive figure skating experience in USFS and ISI, along with being a US Regional competitor. She has 7 years of ballet and off-ice training, along with extensive training in jumps, spins, footwork, and moves in the field. Lauren has currently been coaching for one year.

Dawnn Irvin

Specializing in moves in the field, stroking, choreography, and free skating, Dawnn has four years of coaching experience. As a competitive skater, Dawnn placed top 5 at Regionals in 2007, tested through Novice free skate, ice danced, and received Gold for Senior moves in the field through USFS.

Perry Jewell

Perry is a five-time U.S. National Competitor. He is a Gold medalist in figures and freestyle as well as Silver medalist in pairs. Specializing in jump technique, freestyle, and show performance, Perry has thirty-five years of coaching experience. Perry is also a personal trainer who works with skaters on their strength & conditioning.

Doug Murray

Doug is a USFS Triple Gold medalist and five time National competitor. Utilizing his ice dance and freestyle experience, Doug improves his skater’s jump technique, artistry, footwork, edge quality, and power.

Brandon Podolsky

Coach Brandon has played competitive ice hockey nation-wide as well as in Canada for many AA, AAA, and junior teams. He specializes in stick handling, puck control, game situation, shooting, and skating technique. Brandon currently coaches for the California Stars.

 

Brittney Podolsky

Brittney is a U.S. Regional competitor with nineteen years of skating experience and six years of on-ice coaching experience; she is Gold certified in moves in the field through USFS and certified Gold through ISI. Brittney has several years of both off-ice training and ballet experience. She is fluent in American Sign Language.

Brittney is currently attending Chaffey College where she is majoring in Nursing.

Cherrie has 42 years of coaching experience and specializes in beginning through advanced skating, jump, and spin technique. She is a USFS Gold medalist in figures and freestlye, and a silver medalist in ice dance. Cherrie is a former Pacific Coast and National competitor and skated as a Principal skater with Ice Capades

Junichi Takemura

Junichi Takemura trained at Shin-Yokohama Ice Arena in Japan. Junichi is a 7x Japanese Senior Men’s National Competitor. Junichi competed winning 1st place at Koktai National Championships in Japan. After graduating university he went on to tour the world as a professional Principle Performer for Holiday on Ice and Disney on Ice. Junichi specializes in all areas of developing competitive skaters.

Kelly Everett-Takemura 

Kelly is a double gold medalist in both Ladies Freestyle and Moves in the Field. Kelly has over 7 years of professional experience touring with Bietek Productions, Holiday on Ice and Disney on Ice. She graduated from Penn State University with a Communications degree. She is also a certified Personal Trainer, Yoga teacher, Nutritionist and Weight Management specialist.  Kelly specializes in training skaters both on and off the ice.

Brian Tuck

Brian is a former British European World and Olympic team member and double Gold medalist. With over fifty years of coaching experience, Brian specializes in basic to advanced jumping and moves in the field.

Traci Veltre

Traci has twenty years of coaching experience and fifteen years of competitive figure skating experience. She is a certified professional instructor through PSA as well as a certified off-ice strength trainer.
